New Sports Coming to CCC&TI Caldwell Campus
Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute is planning to add more sports. The News Topic reports the college’s board of trustees approved the addition of a men’s baseball team and a women’s softball team on Wednesday.

Ice and Power Outages in Caldwell County
An ice storm Friday night caused power outages and roadblocks in Caldwell County. The Lenoir Fire Department went out to about 70 calls between 1 and 11 am, mostly for fallen trees. The News Topic reports Blue
