A Lenoir church uncovered a forgotten pool during renovations. While tearing up the choir seats of Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church Rob Byerly discovered the church’s original baptismal pool from 1901. Byerly believes the pool was covered up during previous renovation in the 50’s. The New Topic Reports, the pool will be covered up again since it is in the exact location of the new pulpit.
