A medical building in Hildebran had to be evacuated yesterday morning do to a nearby gas leak. A contracting crew dug into a gas line while trying to lay fiber optic cable on South Center Street. The News Herald reports the wind blew the natural gas into the building leading to the evacuation. No one was injured in the incident.
