A woman was killed and 2 people were injured in an accident in Morganton. Anndrel Royal was driving an SUV on Sanford drive Friday morning when the News Herald reports she crossed the center line and hit a Burke County Public Schools Truck driven by Jeffrey Cook. Royal was killed in the accident.
