Part of the ventilation system at Profile Turf Products Group plant in Conover caught fire yesterday afternoon. Firefighters worked five stories off the ground to extinguish the fire. The Daily Record reports firefighters were forced to strip away pieces of the ventilations system to get water to the fire. No injuries were reported.
