Granite Falls applying for Grant for Shuford Mills Rec projects

Granite Falls is applying for a grant to pay for eight proposed projects at the Shuford Recreation Center. The projects would include playground equipment, sports facilities, and water features. The News-Topic reports the proposal will go through the North Carolina Parks and Recreation Trust Fund and will pay for $250,000 of the of $500,000 needed, if approved.
