A teenager from Maiden was killed and three others were injured in an automobile accident on Startown Road in Lincoln County yesterday afternoon. 17-year-old Nicole Taelor Kennett was driving her Chevrolet Cobalt south on Startown Road when she crossed the centerline and hit a Ford F350 pickup truck. Hickory Daily Record reports Kennett died at the scene.
