Main Street in Lenoir was temporarily shut down late Monday morning after a man was shot in the leg. The shooting followed an argument about 11 a.m. a short distance north of the Caldwell County Courthouse. Typhin Miles was flown to Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte and The News-Topic reports he is in stable condition. Christopher Cabinet was arrested a short time later in J.E. Broyhill Park.
