A Morganton area woman was hit by a vehicle when she tried to cross West Fleming Drive on Wednesday afternoon. The News Herald reports the incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. in front of Advance Auto Parts and that the female victim, whose identity has not been released, had non-life threatening injuries.
