WSOC-TV reports a Caldwell County deputyβs cruiser was struck Thursday during a 10-mile chase in Caldwell and Alexander counties. The chase ended at the driver’s home in the Ellendale community and Miguel Arroyo was charged with not having an operatorβs license, failure to yield, hit-and-run and felony speeding to elude. Arroyo is in the Alexander County jail under a $20,000 bond.
