The NC Highway Patrol is investigating after a Caldwell County Sheriff’s Deputy was involved in an accident Sunday in Lenoir. According to reports, the deputy was on his way to an emergency call when he lost control his SUV and slammed into several parked cars at an automotive repair shop on Creekway Dr. NW. The deputy has been placed on administrative leave during the investigation. No injuries were reported.
