Some tense moments in Cleveland County Thursday afternoon after a bag with explosives were found on the shoulder of the road near a church.  Cleveland County deputies shut down Pleasant Hill Church Road Thursday after discovering suspicious materials near Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Police said the bag contained ammunition, black powder, and four devices that appeared to be pipe bombs. The bomb squad from Gastonia came in to safely detonate the items.
