A Vale man was placed under nearly a $250,000 bond after Hickory Police arrested him recently. James Notheisen faces a long list of charges including possession of a firearm by a felon, carrying a concealed gun, possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver methamphetamine; and possession of drug paraphernalia. Notheisen was also served with bills of indictment for possession with intent to sell or deliver schedule II & schedule VI controlled substances. His initial bond was set at bond set at $248,000, secured. He was scheduled for a first appearance yesterday in Catawba County.
