Authorities in Caldwell County are searching for an inmate who went missing from his work release assignment Monday Afternoon. Kevin Adams, 47, was last seen around 1:15 p.m. on Cranberry Road in Lenoir. He has brown hair, blue eyes and is about 6 feet, 4 inches, weighing about 202 pounds. Adams has tattoos on his chest, arms and right wrist. Anyone who sees Adams should call the Caldwell Correctional Center at 828-726-2509 or the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office at 828-754-1518.
