Police in the town of Catawba have released a description of the man they say forced himself inside a home on 2nd St. SE early Tuesday morning and sexually assaulted a woman. They says the suspect is an African american male in his mid 30s to early 40s,, Approximately 6 ft tall with facial hair and was dressed in casual clothing and a toboggan. Police did say persons of interest have been and continued to be interviewed. Anyone with information is asked to contact Catawba Police Department of Catawba County Sheriffs Office.
