With snow forecast for the area most school systems in the area have cancelled classes for today, withe the exception of Caldwell County which will release students 3 hours early. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the area from 10am until midnight. Snow this afternoon and evening could accumulate around one inch.
