Gov. Roy Cooper announced that NC k-12 schools will remain closed through May 15th. He also announced that some businesses where groups of people gather must close including gyms, movie theaters, nail and hair salons and barber shops. The order takes effect Wednesday at 5pm but the Governor urged those businesses to close sooner if possible. Grocery stores will remain open as will restaurants offering take out or delivery options.
