A sixth person has died in Catawba County as the result of complications from Cornoravirus. Health officials reported the death on Thursday. Catawba county also recorded 13 additional positive test results on Thursday bring the total 194 since the pandemic began.
Burke County reported 30 new cases on Thursday bringing the total there to 371.
Caldwell County had 7 additional positive test results Thursday bringing the total in Caldwell County to 127.
