Two people were shot, one fatally, early Wednesday morning in Burke County. Sheriff’s deputies were called to a home on Knob Ave. In Connelly Springs after reports of yelling, screaming and gunshots. Police found one person dead at the scene and other suffering gunshot wounds was transported to a local trauma center. The person who was involved in the shooting had fled the scene along with a female. That person later turned himself in in Cleveland County and was being interviewed. The female was also located. The investigation is on going and no names have been released.
