New Company Plans for Burke County
A new company is planning to move to Hildebran in Burke County. 19 jobs would be created according to Alan Wood of Burke Development Inc. Commissioners approved a $2,500 local grant match for the manufacturing company.

The Lenoir Police Department arrested Brian Edward Drew 40. He is facing larceny of a motor vehicle, possession of a stolen motor vehicle and fleeing to elude arrest. He is under a $20,000 secured bond.
