Two people were airlifted to hospitals after a wreck in Lenoir. Luis Alonso Rodriguez Cardenas 33 was taken to Charlotte Medical Center while Yessnia Hernandez Lopez 30, was taken to Wake Forest Baptist. The crash occurred on Creekway Dr Tuesday night. The vehicle hit a tree and caught fire. Speed is believed to be a factor.
