An autopsy is being conducted on human remains found in Caldwell County. The remains were located by someone walking near Cheraw Road by the Caldwell County landfill. The medical examiner’s office will attempt to identify the individual. Investigators do not suspect foul play at this time. Caldwell County deputies were assisted by the State Bureau of Investigations.
