Hickory Police arrested a Greensboro man on heroin and methamphetamine charges. Austin Tate Mullins 24, also had an outstanding fugitive warrant and faces multiple other drug charges. He was taken into custody outside a hotel on Lenoir Rhyne Blvd SE on December 29th. 3.8 grams of meth, 0.3 grams of heroin and 4.1 grams of marijuana were found in his possession. Mullins was placed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under a $25,000 bond. A court date is set for today in Newton.
