One person is dead after a 2 vehicle crash in Hickory. The wreck occurred on Hwy 70 SE near Everette Chevrolet, just after 1:30 pm on Monday. According to Hickory Police, Leisa Glenn White 61, died at the scene after her vehicle was struck by Aaron Lee Walker 26. He was charged with felony death by motor vehicle, driving while impaired and other charges. Walker was placed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under a $121,500 bond with a court date set for today.
