The Catawba Valley was well represented at Super Bowl 55. Eric Church of Caldwell County sang the National Anthem, while Ryan Succop of Hickory, kicked a field goal for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tampa won the game 31-9 over the Kansas City Chiefs.
