The Town of Valdese will soon have a Charters of Freedom display. Foundation Forward Inc of Burke County is working with the town. Replicas of the Declaration of Independence, U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights will be on display. A groundbreaking was held Tuesday at the location on Main St across from Myra’s. A similar display is located in Morganton at the Historic Courthouse.
