The Burke County Board of Education voted to go to Plan A beginning April 12th. After spring break, students will be in school 5 days a week K – 12. The vote was 7-0. In line with Governor Cooper’s guidelines, minimal distancing will be required along with mask use. As the meeting ended, board member Edna Weller announced her resignation effective March 31st.
