Burke County Commissioners voted unanimously to purchase land at 2350 Hwy 70 in Connelly Springs. The 14.5 acres will cost $550,000 from the savings fund balance and would be used for a trash convenience center and possible space for water and sewer employees offices. Due diligence will take place before the purchase would be complete.
