A home was destroyed by fire in Burke County over the weekend. Firefighters from Brendletown, West End, Salem, Glen Alpine, Dysartville, Nebo, Triple Community and the Burke County EMS responded to 5040 Rainhill Church Road. The fire marshal declared it a total loss and the cause is under investigation. One man at the home was found with burns to his hands, no other injuries were reported.
