Catawba County Sheriff officers arrested a South Carolina resident. Melody Michelle Branson 49, faces felony possession of schedule 2 controlled substance and possession of methamphetamine among other charges. She was placed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under a $3,500 bond. A court date was set for today.
