Arrest in Shooting Case
A man was arrested in connection to a Burke County shooting. Kenneth Aubrey Reed 61, was charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury. The incident occurred last Thursday on Pea Ridge Rd. The
County Manager Fired
Caldwell County’s Manager was fired on Friday. At a special meeting, commissioners voted to dismiss Stan Kiser effective immediately. Kiser had been with the county since 2009. Finance officer Tony Helton was named Interim County Manager.
