The North Carolina Department of Transportation is replacing the West bound exit ramp at exit 112 of I-40. Work has been ongoing in the area and transportation officials said by fall it should be complete. Both bridges on I-40 will have been replaced at the exit. The West bound ramp should be open by June 14th.
