After a DWI a deputy has been fired. Michael Tremayne Watkins 49, was with the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office, he was charged after a single vehicle wreck early Thursday. He crashed after picking up a patrol car. A court date is set for August 2nd. The NC State Hwy Patrol is investigating.
