An attempted murder charge was filed in Hickory. Thalmus Jaton Linder 42, faces felony attempted 1st degree murder and hit and run with injury, along with drug related charges. He was arrested in connection to a pedestrian being hit on June 8th near Lenoir Rhyne Blvd SE and 4th Ave Place. He was placed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under a $502,500 secured bond. Next court dates are set for July 8th and July 12th.
