Heavy damage was done to a truck after hitting a bridge in Hickory. The 26 foot box truck struck the railroad overpass of 3rd St SW near downtown. The roof of the truck was peeled back, no significant damage was reported to the bridge and no injuries were reported. The incident occurred late Sunday night.
