As the July 4th weekend gets underway, fireworks are planned throughout the Catawba Valley. Valdese will have fireworks on Friday at dusk behind the Old Rock School. Morganton will have their display on July 4th at Freedom Park at 940 pm, Lenoir will have fireworks at the Mulberry Recreation Center at 930 pm on July 4th and the Hickory Crawdads will have fireworks after the game on July 4th.
