Traffic in Morganton
There will be partial road closures in Morganton this week. Crews will be working on construction on the courthouse square. Beginning Tuesday, parts of East Meeting St, North Green St and South Sterling St will be closed.

A court date is set for today for a Hickory man. William Cornelius Gibbs Jr 36, was arrested by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Officers. He faces felony maintaining a vehicle for controlled substance. Bond was set at $30,000.
