A plane went down in Alexander County. The pilot and passengers both survived. The single engine plane reportedly never lost power, but the pilot said he had no steering control. The pilot and passenger were ok, the plane went down off Sulphur Springs Road in a soybean field. Alexander County EMS, Rescue, Sheriff’s Office, Taylorsville Police and Hiddenite first responders were on the scene. The incident is under investigation.
