I D theft charges were brought against a Hickory man. Roger Thomas Hamby 34, also faces felony larceny breaking and entering to a motor vehicle and several other drug related charges. He was taken to the Catawba County Detention Facility under a $23,500 bond. His next court dates are today and August 23rd.
