A Hickory man is facing assault charges. Yorel Damir Scott 21, was arrested by Hickory Police. He faces discharging a weapon into an occupied dwelling or vehicle, and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill. As well as a methamphetamine possession charge. Catawba County Detention facility $25,ooo bond. A court date is set for August 30th.
