Human remains were found in Burke County on October 9th. Local residents reported to the Burke County Sheriffs Department, the findings were on Oak Drive in Drexel. The Medical Examiner verified the remains to be human. The Sheriff’s Office and State Bureau of Investigations recovered the evidence and it has been submitted for forensic analysis.
