A court date is set for today for 28 year old Wesley Alan Cox. He was arrested by the Burke County Sheriffs Officers. He faces felony possession of a weapon by a felon, possession of controlled substance and assault on a female charges. He was placed in jail in Morganton under a $20,000 secured bond. Court dates are today November 1st and November 8th.
