Bond was set at $500,000 for a Hickory man. 36 year old William Cornelius Gibbs Jr faces felony counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and speeding to elude arrest. He was arrested by Caldwell County officers and placed in the Caldwell County Detention Center. A court date was set for Wednesday.
