A fugitive charge was brought against a Hickory man. 37 year old Michael Dean Hawley was arrested by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Officers and now faces felony fugitive warrants from Florida on sex crime charges involving a child and obscene communications. He was placed under no bond in the Caldwell County Detention Center. A court date was set for today.
Larceny charges were brought against a Morganton man. 46 year old Jonathan Wayne Loven was arrested by Hickory Police. He faces felony larceny by anti inventory device among other charges. He was arrested at JC Penney at the Valley Hills Mall. Loven was placed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under a $3,000 secured bond. His next court dates are November 29th and December 2nd.
