A Morganton man is facing theft charges. 68 year old Roger Dale Junior Brown was charged with breaking and entering, larceny among other charges. He was arrested by the Hickory Police Department and placed under a $26,500 bond at the Catawba County Detention Center. A court date was set for January 3rd.
A Granite Falls man is charged with drug offenses. 43 year old Jimmy David Mellon faces possession of methamphetamine. He was placed under a $1500 secured bond with a court date set for today in Lenoir.
