Bond was set at $200,000 for a Hickory woman. 41 year old Elizabeth Ann Kathleen Byrd faces felony probation violation and had been convicted on drug offenses in 2020. Byrd was placed in jail with a court date set for February 24th.
A Lenoir man was arrested as a fugitive from Virginia. 30 year old Clinton Gregory Hicks faces felony speeding to elude arrest and unspecified changes in Russell County Virginia. He was placed in the Caldwell County Detention Center under a $55,000 secured bond. A court date was set for today.
