A Rhodhiss man is facing charges in Catawba County. 35 year old Jonathan Todd Griffin was arrested by Long View Police. He faces possession of a firearm by a felon and resisting a public officer among other charges. He was taken to the Catawba County Detention Facility under a $25,000 bond.
Drug charges for a Newton man in Hickory. 27 year old Darchae Jamahl Nichols faces possession of a controlled substance on prison or jail premises. After his arrest he was released under a $15,000 secured bond. His next court dates are set for February 7th and March 7th on multiple felony drug and felony firearms counts.
