The Burke County School Board met last night. A vote was held on mask use. The vote was 3-3 which causes the decision to revert back to a previous action. Masks are now optional in Burke County Schools as of today. A new board member was not selected to fill the remaining term of RL Icard, who passed away in November. A consensus was not reached on a new member.
