A fugitive from Virginia was arrested in Hickory. 46 year old Shawn Jermaine Cooper was arrested by Hickory Police. He faces charges in Wythe County Virginia for possession with intent to distribute dangerous drugs among other charges. He was placed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under a $50,000 secured bond. His next court date is March 14th.
