A man is facing multiple charges after a chase in Catawba County. 45 year old James Cully Lineberger faces felony possession of a stolen firearm, various drug charges including methamphetamine possession, fleeing to elude arrest and reckless driving among other charges. The chase took place along Hopewell Church Rd and ended on Cove Creek Dr, where he fled on foot and was caught. He was placed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under a $60,000 bond. His next court date is March 8th.
